RETURN POLICY AND PROCEDURES

RETURN POLICY

Here is what to expect if you change your mind about your Mischi bag. Merchandise may be returned as long as we receive it within 30 days of purchase and you have the following:

  • Unused Merchandise: Nobody likes damaged goods.
  • Original email confirmation: We just need proof that this isn’t a catfish situation.

If 30 days have passed since your purchase or your item has been used, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. We reserve the right to deny any items that do not meet our policy requirements. If the item is used we will reject the return/refund and will send the used item(s) back to you.

RETURN PROCEDURES

In the event that your purchase does not exceed your expectations, please email us within 30 days of purchase at info@mischi.co.za for a return authorisation.

Once authorised, we will email you an exchange/returns form to complete. Items must be unused, not damaged or washed and in the original condition & packaging. The customer will be responsible for paying the return shipping charges. Return shipping charges will be deducted from your refund amount.

PROCESSING YOUR RETURN
  1. Print, fill out and include the exchange/returns form along with your parcel. Find the form here.
  2. Send your parcel to the following address:

  3. Once our warehouse has received and inspected your return, your refund will be issued within 3-5 business days and you will receive an email confirmation that your return is completed. Please remember, that the customer will be responsible for paying the return shipping charges. Return shipping charges will be deducted from your refund amount.

REPAIRS

Mischi Baby Bags come with a 6-month warranty. We take great pride in designing and creating high-quality products that are constructed with both style and function in mind.

Having that said, handcrafted products can break.

If this happens within 6 months of purchase due to a manufacturing fault, we’re happy to repair it for free.

After 6 months, the cost of repair will depend on the nature of the repair needed.

Our warranty covers hardware and/or defects on items purchased through Mischi online store or an authorized stockist.

Unfortunately, our warranty does not cover wear and tear due to normal, proper use of the product, nor does it cover accidents, spills, scratching off of genuine leather or defects due to negligent use.

The warranty will be forfeited once any repairs or alterations have been applied by any party other than Mischi.

Please note that the client is responsible for courier costs to the factory & we will cover the costs back once repair work is completed.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?

If your order is fully processed, you will receive an email from Mischi confirming your purchase along with order details. Please make sure to double-check your info when checking out so the order confirmation email and product go to the right places. Please allow 2-4 days for fulfilment to be completed.

If you do need to make changes to an order, please email customer service as quickly as possible. Please be aware that any order changes may not be fully completed if your order has already been fulfilled. For customer protection, Mischi will not be able to add or remove any items from an order that has already been processed. If you are wanting to add an item you missed, you will need to place a separate order for that item. Any item not wanted can be returned through our standard return process.

WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING POLICIES?

Please allow 1-2 business days for your item(s) to ship. This means after your order is placed  & manufactured (manufacturing can take 5-10 working days) it will be sent out, and then the location will determine the number of shipping days.

Typically local orders take an estimated 2-4 business days to deliver. Business days are Monday-Friday. Once your purchase ships you will receive tracking information by email to the email used to place an order. Local orders ship The Courier Guy.

WHERE IS MY TRACKING NUMBER?

Once your bag is ready to ship and be picked up by our shipping carrier, you will get a tracking number sent to the email you used at checkout. Please allow 24 hours or so for your tracking number to update in their system. If you did not receive a tracking number, make sure to check your spam or junk folder in your email. Also, make sure to check the correct email account you used at checkout. Many people have two or three accounts and can sometimes forget which account they used. If you still did not get a tracking number, chances are your email address was entered incorrectly at checkout. Please email customer service to have your email updated and your shipping confirmation email resent to you! For any other inquiries, please email us at info@mischi.co.za

PRODUCTS + ORDERING

I’M HAVING ISSUES WITH THE NU LEATHER…

Our bags are made from durable high-quality faux leather. However, the material like any can be damaged with use. We always recommend being careful around rough or sharp objects and surfaces. Any damage to faux leather during use is not covered under the Mischi warranty. This includes scratches, wear and peeling of faux leather.

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

Customers can cancel their order if they request to do so before their order is fulfilled. Once the order is fulfilled and on its way, we cannot cancel an order and the regular return process will be required. For customer security, we cannot add extra items to an order that has already been placed. If you want to add extra items, you will need to order them separately. If you are needing to update your address or email on an order, please email customer service to make the change. Please be aware that if your order has already been fulfilled, address changes will not be able to be corrected. So we highly recommend double checking all info entered at checkout.

I THINK I HAVE A BAD ZIPPER…

Tough zipper? Unfortunately, that can happen. We try our best to make sure every bag that we send out is up to our high standards of quality. If you are experiencing a difficult zipper, try slowly zipping it open and closed several times to get the zipper worked in. Still having issues? Please email customer service for more info! Is the zipper not all the way flush against the end as it should be? Don’t worry, nothing is wrong. Simply pull the zipper all the way closed towards the closing end, that should do the trick.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY MISCHI BAG?

GENUINE LEATHER

Spills & spots

  • Any food or drink spilt on your baby bag should be wiped off with a wet cloth.
    Blot (do not rub) excess liquid immediately with a clean dry cloth.
  • If possible, allow the area to dry.
  • Most liquids will be absorbed by the leather and stains should fade over time or even disappear.
  • If the stains are more severe, refer to the instructions below.

Stubborn stains

  • Use a clean absorbent sponge/cloth and apply a small amount of any non-acidic soap with water.
  • Do not wipe in circles.
  • Wipe again using a clean damp cloth to remove excess soap (avoid circular movements).
  • Allow the area to dry.

NU LEATHER

Our bags are faux leather, which means any spills can be wiped down with a damp cloth or wiped. Please use only alcohol-free products. The inside lining is also waterproof and can be wiped down as well. Our nu leather products are water resistant but not waterproof meaning you cannot submerge the product in liquid (washing machine).

DO MISCHI BAGS COME WITH A WARRANTY?

Yes. Mischi Bags come with a 6-month warranty. We take great pride in designing and creating high-quality products that are constructed with both style and function in mind. Our warranty covers hardware and/or defects on items purchased through Mischi’s website or an authorised dealer. If you are experiencing an issue with one of your Mischi products, simply send us an email at info@mischi.co.za .

Please note that our warranty does not cover wear and tear due to normal, proper use of the product, nor does it cover accidents, spills, scratching, peeling, rubbing off of nu leather or defects created from self- or third-party repairs or alterations. All items purchased through an unauthorised retailer, a secondhand seller are also not covered under our warranty. Warranty is also not valid on products won through promotional giveaways. Due to Buy, Sale, Trade pages defective bags will only be replaced by the original owner or purchaser.

MY BAG NEED SOME REPAIR BUT IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY, CAN YOU HELP?

After 6 months, the cost for repair will depend on the nature of the repair needed.

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?

Yes, we do. We accept any unused or unwrapped orders within 30 days of purchasing. To start a return, please email our customer service team at info@mischi.co.za.

MY BAG COLOUR IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED MAY I EXCHANGE IT?
If you would like to exchange your item(s) for a different colour please email our customer service team to start your return at, info@mischi.co.za. Keep in mind we must receive your return within 30 days of purchase in order for your return to be authorized.
